MALIA, Michael S. age 43 passed away April 2, 2016. Loving father of Owen. Cherished son of Joseph (Sharon) and Carol Malia.  Caring brother of Brian (Alison) and Seanna Malia. Dear grandson of Earl (late Carolyn) Young and late Joseph (late Helen) Malia. Former spouse of Jennifer Malia. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew and friends.

Mike Malia, Son, Brother, Husband, Dad, Uncle, Friend, Cousin Mike, ‘CM’, Mails, Coach, so many names for the one man who was so full of LOVE, LAUGHTER, and LIFE!  A jokester, a ball of energy with a smile that was irreplaceable, Mike was a man like no one you will ever meet!  He was the most charismatic, amazing person who was passionate about his job as a father.  He cared deeply for his family and friends and was always so very thoughtful, kind and considerate.  For anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him or meeting him, even just once, he forever changed their lives in ways that we can’t even put in to words. He was truly one of a kind and someone that we were blessed to know.  May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved, adored and will be truly missed.  

Visitation Friday, April 8th, 1pm-8pm at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Instate Saturday, April 9th,  9:30am until time of Funeral Mass 10am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd, Farmington. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
