ROBINSON, Gerald E., age 55, April 13, 2016. Beloved husband of Deidre for 13 years. Dear father of Jessica Robinson, Michael Petrillo and Kaitlin Petrillo. Loving son of Thomas and the late Audrey Robinson. Dearest brother of Beth (Bill) Steere, Rick (Tess), the late Bill, Tom (Cindy) and Dave (Sharon). Gerald is loved and missed by many nieces and nephews.

He was an engineer for General Motors for 30 years. Jerry was dedicated and passionate about working with his team to design cars. In his free time Jerry enjoyed windsurfing, playing the guitar, cribbage, cooking with his wife, golfing, Mai Tai’s by the pool, and quality time with Teddy the dog. Jerry was creative in so many ways – drawing little pictures every morning with notes for the kids before school, the traditional Christmas morning scavenger hunt, and taking pictures of the beautiful South Haven sunset.

Visitation Sunday 2-8pm and Monday 10am until time of Service 10:30am at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Interment at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.
