Dear Dad, So sorry to see you leave us. You simply fell asleep. That sounds very peaceful. Thank you for the stories. I did not care how many times you repeated them, your enthusiasm and humor were the best. Congrats on all your commercial creative work. You got national recognition from some of your best work. In particular the Laurel and Hardy with the piano/windshield wiper commercial and the cobra snake patch that everyone wore on their jacket in the 60s. Your artwork is celebrated in almost every room in my home. From ballerinas to watercolors of Italy and a few very 60s mod pieces. You taught us to love ALL different kinds of music from jazz, classical to Zydeco and all the new Beatles albums and many more. I remember you walking in the door at mom's house with your slightly long hair proudly sharing the new Beatles album! You taught us to love food in perfect Italian papa style. I learned to love cheese and peanut butter so don't worry. Peas and lima beans....forget it. And finally, you were the hero who took care of Anthony when he was dying. That is a TRUE hero. You were there for him in so many ways. Thank you! Love you!!!
