I Remember...

Kim and I developed a friendship when she found out I had recently been to Israel in 1999. Her love for God and her relationship with Jesus bound our hearts together ever since then. Kim has been a special gift from the Lord. She showed so much faith, strength, and courage, these last few years. I will miss her dearly. We can take comfort in knowing she is with Jesus. My heart goes out to Mike, Alex, Adam, and Austin. May you find the love and peace of God in your sorrow.

Faye and I just read the lovely description of your life together, Mike...fond memories which will thankfully remain with you through these difficult times and forever more. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours, along with our memories of our times together.

I knew Kim for a relatively short period of time, but I so enjoyed some wonderful conversations with her over a cups of tea. We talked mainly of her faith, which was steadfast. "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31. This is how I picture Kim now, exploring the Heavenly kingdom in peace, full of everlasting joy.

I admired Kim as a wife and mother, but most of all I saw her as a woman of faith. Kim had many accomplishments but she really inspired me to emulate her kind regard for everyone she met, her unwavering faith despite a long illness, and her love for family. I will miss her and I know she has reached everlasting glory in heaven. My sympathy to Mike, her family, and her friends.

My first ever river cruise was with Mike and Kim on the Danube. We came home with so many memories, joined together in so much laughter. It was and still is one of my most favorite trips and so glad we got to share it with Kim.
