I Remember...

Peter and Maureen sat behind us at Mass and always had a pleasant word for everyone. He and Maureen spoke highly of their family and were very proud of all their accomplishments. We will keep you all in our prayers as you go through these difficult days. Rest easy, Peter, in God's loving arms.

Uncle Pete will be missed. I looked forward to his visits as a child. He always had jokes to tell and his laugh was contagious. We loved to hear him sing his favorite Irish song, "Martha, The Flower of Sweet Strabane" at all of the family parties - and he loved to perform! God bless Uncle Pete.

Uncle Pete, was one of the most upbeat and positive people I ever met. I loved getting together with him and his family when we were growing up---him and my dad were thick as thieves back in the days in Sunnyside. The fact that he was an usher at Shea Stadium and Nassau Coliseum and upgraded our seats when we went to games was another plus. He is a special person and we will all miss him!
