Going to Bill's house in Berkley and hanging out. Bill coming over to my parents house in Oak Park and having dinner with the family.He would also visit my parents in Florida. Bill was a real gentleman, an upstanding guy, and a great guy. He was one of my brother Bob's best friends. I'm going to miss him dearly.

I played hockey with Bill. He loved hockey and he loved Shar. I only met Shar after Alzheimer's. Bill brought Shar to a couple of the tournaments in Niagara Falls. While Bill was playing hockey the other ladies tended to Shar. The ladies were great. Bill still wanted to play in the tournaments in Blenheim, Ontario. Blenheim is south of Chatham, a little over an hour away from Detroit. While most of the guys were staying in Chatham for the tournament, Bill and I would commute so he could tend to Shar. Bill had a caretaker there while he was away. Bill also organized a Sunday morning skate during the summer in Farmington Hills. Doc Howard I believe still has they skate going. I am currently working out of town and will not be able to attend either the visitation or the funeral. Bill will be missed.
