I Remember...

I met Kim when she was 1 and I was 2. Our parents were next door neighbors. I would play in her sand box until afternoon kindergarten. The teen years brought us to dancing around her built in pool to Kung Foo fighting, kiss, Chicago, mick jagger and David Bowie. We both had camaros. We would talk and talk about everything. We promised each other to be maids of honor at our weddings, and we were. When a serious illness incapacitated me kim always kept in touch with my husband. When I was able to hold my phone we texted constantly. She shared my tears. when I came home from the nursing home I had seen on her site a beautiful fall tree she designed. She made one for me and it's been plugged in since 2018 and will remain on. I have a few more items she made. We always considered each other sisters and no matter where life took us always remained in touch. I will miss her deeply. I will share a quote from a song by Chicago that best describes Kim and I" old days on my mind and in my heart to stay". Luv always
