We missed seeing John at the Marine Corps Mess Night this year and were sad to hear he was so ill. He will always be remembered during our toast to those who have served so bravely and have now gone before us. On a personal note, I will miss his stories. Chats with John were like history lessons on all things Detroit, including Art and Jazz... truly wonderful! Semper Fi, John. May your family's best memories of you bring them peace.
