What a dear friend and sweet woman Rebecca was. She organised a 'hen party' for me when we met at a scrapbooking retreat in 2011 - it was a complete surprise to me and she made it so special. She has been a support to me in my own cancer journey and I will miss her terribly. God bless you Michael, and Rebecca's family too.

To Michael, Rebecca's mother, and other family members and friends, my sincerest sympathy. I've known Rebecca for 20 years and thought of her as a family member. Kind, thoughtful, beautiful and always ready to help everyone, she was a special light in the world and helped me get through many difficult times in my life. I will love her forever!!! Deb (& Bob)

Mike, I learned a lot about someone, Rebecaa, who made this world a much much better place through a passion for her work. Her ripple effect means Canton is a better city, you are a better man, and Brother Rice is a better school. That is a lot of people who benefitted from Rebecca. God Bless her and you!

I was privileged to work for Rebecca in my first job as librarian. It was the best job I ever had and she was my favorite boss: professional, organized, hard-working, and kind. She was always thinking of how we could do better for our patrons, she brought out the best in her librarians, and she fostered collaboration, something I enjoyed and for which I will always be grateful.

You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Rebecca always shined and was so supportive to me. I will miss her!

I knew rebecca for 18 years and in that time throughout these years we became very close friends. Rebecca was a wonderful supportive, inspiring, loving and encouraging friend. She has left a big hole in my life.

Becca was the most loving, caring, creative, beautiful, selfless, intelligent, fun loving person I've even known. Her friendship has made me a better person.
