This is shocking and deeply saddening. Pat was a great person and friend. He was smart, funny, wise, kind, charismatic, and most of all genuine. We'd hang out sometimes with friends from uni in Hawaii and he and I would play golf every so often. Actually, he would destroy me at golf and manage to teach me as well in his easy going way. I will miss him. RIP O.C.

I will greatly miss my lifelong friend PJC. He was a big part of my youth, wedding and adult life, whether he was in Chicago, Hawaii or elsewhere. It is comforting knowing that he truly lived his life and wasn't just meandering through it. RIP my friend.

Pat was always one of the boys I was happy to find hanging out at the house with my son. He was a pleasure to talk to--very witty, lots of fun, and always with a twinkle in his eye. My heart breaks for his parents, siblings, and all who knew him and loved him. May he Rest In Peace.

There are few people who you meet in life that make a permanent impact on you. Pat was one of those friends. I had the honor of meeting him in elementary school. We had so much fun through your our childhood and teenage years. He was kind, and brought joy to so many. The world has lost a great man.
