Carolee Marie Brower, age 81 of Waterford, passed away April 16, 2025. She was born February 19, 1944, to James and Leta Coombes and grew up in Dearborn. Carolee will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated herself to her family. She lived a life full of faith and devotion. Her faith in the Lord was evident in how she lived her life. She shared her kind spirit with all people and selflessly put others before herself. Her creative jokes and stories, her unmatched sense of humor and her love to bring joy to others never went unnoticed. The daughter of a WWII Marine veteran, Carolee developed a proud love for her country and a deep respect for those who protect it. Carolee was predeceased by her husband, James A. Brower. She is survived by her daughters, Leslie (Jim) Richardson, Rebecca Wheeker, and Sarah (Johnnie) Napier, and their father, Don Dopke. Loving Gammie of Melissa, Gavin, James and Nicholas Parkhurst. Dear sister of the late Laurie Downs and the late George “Skip” (Susan). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Service for Carolee will be held on Monday, April 21st, at 11:00 a.m., with gathering beginning at 10:00 a.m., at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 5301 Hatchery Rd., Waterford. She will be laid to rest in Pine Lake Cemetery, West Bloomfield.
