Gloria DiPirro passed away March 31, 2025, at the age of 82. She was the loving wife of the late Al DiPirro; devoted sister of Robert Kloeppel; cherished aunt of Nicholas (Jaime) Kloeppel, Heidi Kloeppel, Christi (Rey) Santodomingo, and Eric (Nicole) Kloeppel; and great aunt to Ava, Kaya, Mica, Daniel, Ryan, Hannah, and Colton. Gloria also leaves many former colleagues and friends. Gloria was born on September 7, 1942 in Detroit to Nicholas and Theresa Kloeppel. After high school, she obtained her bachelor's degree from Mercy College and was elected the secretary of S.E.A. whle attending. Gloria furthered her education by receiving her master’s degree from Wayne State University and entered the work force as an educator. Gloria retired from Detroit Public Schools after many years of dedication. She always had a giving heart, donating and sponsoring DPS programs and student endeavors throughout her career. Gloria was a parishioner at St. Fabian Catholic Church and an avid reader. She enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels and had a knack for finding the ‘diamond in the rough’ at charity functions. Gloria was very sociable and a true cat lover. Most of all, Gloria adored her family and loved to visit them out West. She will be deeply missed by her beloved family and friends. Visitation for Gloria will be held on Saturday, April 5th, from 2:00 p.m. until at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills.
