Violet Sarcevich, age 91 of Farmington Hills, passed away on March 31, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Violet was the beloved matriarch and lifeblood of her family.

Born with an unwavering sense of dedication, Violet was deeply committed to her family and their shared legacy. Alongside her husband, Vojislav “Bill”, she helped build and run Vladimir's Banquet Hall, a family-owned catering business that became a staple in the community. With her sharp eye for detail and an unrelenting work ethic, Violet was the heart and soul of the operation, from orchestrating the largest events to managing the most intricate details — including her famous “sweet table,” which became legendary in its own right.

Violet's straightforward approach and no-nonsense attitude made her a force to be reckoned with. She always called the shots, and it was through her leadership and love that the family business thrived and created lasting memories for countless people. However, her greatest joy was always in her family. No matter how busy life got, she always put her loved ones first, and her family will forever cherish the lessons she taught them about love, loyalty, and strength.

Violet was the beloved wife of the late Vojislav. Loving mother of Delcy (Mark) McArthur, Nancy (Heinz-Peter) Jansen, and the late Ronald Sarcevich. Proud grandmother of Karin, Ross, Meredith, Heather, and the late Ian McArthur, Peter and Milena Jansen, and Alexandra Sarcevich.

Visitation for Violet will be held on Friday, April 4th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Pomen Service at 7:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 5th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit.
