Virginia Frabotta, age 95 of Plymouth, passed away March 14, 2025. An avid reader, Virginia had a deep passion for books, embracing everything from crime-solving suspense novels to biographies. Her love for reading kept her mind active and sharp, as she eagerly explored new stories and gained new perspectives throughout her life. Virginia was an active member of the Orphans Club at San Francesco Catholic Church in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. A lifelong advocate for health and wellness, Virginia took great care of herself and had a signature routine that she credited for her longevity. Her protein shake, made with V8 energy, blueberries, and protein powder, became a staple in her daily routine, and she believed it contributed to her vitality and youthful spirit. Virginia’s greatest joy, however, came from her family—especially her great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nonna.” She adored her great-grandchildren and found endless delight in their company. Always eager to make them laugh, she provided them with both entertainment and snacks, and her home was a place filled with love and joy when they visited. Virginia was a woman of remarkable strength, wisdom, and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will be cherished by her family and all who knew her. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Angelo “Calvino” Frabotta. Loving mother of Gina (Donald) Bosco and Edda (Rene) Bockart. Proud grandmother of Anthony Bosco, Cara (Michael) Jacoboni, Danielle (Duncan) Feldman, Alyse (David) Hunter, Rene Bockart Jr., and Audrey Bockart and Nonna of Michael, Angelo, Anthony, Donald, and Baby Boy Jacoboni on the way; Leonora and Marcella Feldman; and Gianna and Giulietta Hunter. Dearest sister of the late Alfred (Helen) DeGrandis, Josephine (Frank) DeBene, Marie (Donald) Zanni, Violet Ceselli, Rosaline (Donald) Arnold, and John (Rose) DeGrandis. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Virginia will be held Wednesday, March 19th, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Chaplet of Divine Mercy Service at 6:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Thursday, March 20th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 N. Haggerty Rd., Plymouth. Virginia will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Virginia's name may be directed to Another Way Pregnancy Center (Baby Boehne Sweet Dreams Fund), 28552 Orchard Lake Rd., Suite 300, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.Virginia Frabotta
