Lucia “Lucy” Giannini, age 79 of Farmington Hills, passed away March 13, 2025.

Lucy was the beloved wife of Kenneth for 61 years. Loving mother of Kevin (Andrea) Giannini and Katherine (Aaron) Hurrelbrinck. Proud grandmother of Anthony, Angelo, Maximillion, and Madison. Dearest sister of Halina Napierala. Cherished friend of Irene, Karen, Irene, and Carol.

Lucy had a passion for reading and a love for learning, often finding solace in the written word. She and Kenneth enjoyed traveling together, and some of their most treasured trips included visits to Mackinac Island, staying at the Grand Hotel, exploring Canada from Toronto to Montreal to Vancouver, and experiencing the beauty of Hawaii.

Above all, Lucy’s greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and adored them beyond measure.

Lucy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Lucy will be held Wednesday, March 19th, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will be laid to rest with a private family service in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

Memorial donations in Lucia's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
