James ‘Jim’ Fullerton Turner, age 85 of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Jim was born on November 21, 1939 in Detroit to Russell and Dorothy (nee Maskell) Turner. He graduated from Redford High School in 1957 and attended Michigan State University, graduating in 1962. While at MSU he met the love of his life, Judy Duncan, and they married on August 17, 1963. The couple was blessed with two children, James II and Ann. Jim began his business career shortly after graduating from MSU as a salesman for Moore Business Forms. In 1967, he started his own company, Advanced Business Forms. Later in 1985, he co-founded a second printing company, Saxon Inc. Jim remained active in both companies until his passing. In addition to his family and business, Jim particularly enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, traveling, and enjoying northern Michigan. He was also a longtime member of the Wilderness Club. Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy; his children Jim (Michelle) Turner and Ann (Patrick) Nagi; grandchildren Jade and James Turner and Chloe and Sophie Nagi; and sisters Joyce (late Chip) Eichhorn and Susan (Phil) Schmidt. A Memorial Service for Jim will be held on Saturday, March 29th, at 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Gathering beforehand at 10:00 a.m. at Birmingham First United Methodist Church, 1589 W Maple Rd, Birmingham. A Memorial lucheon will follow at the church.
