Allan Joseph Provo, Sr., age 83 of Farmington Hills, passed away January 26, 2025.

A passionate bowler and avid coin collector, Allan found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the time spent with his great-grandchildren, always ready for a game or a laugh. His love for family was evident in everything he did, and his warmth and affection will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Allan’s heart was as big as his generosity. He was a longtime volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, where he spent many hours helping to build homes for those in need. His dedication to serving others was a reflection of the kind, selfless soul he was.

Known for never meeting a stranger, Allan’s friendly and approachable nature made him a beloved figure in his community. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, leaving behind a legacy of friendship and goodwill.

Allan, Sr. was the beloved husband of Sharon Provo for 63 years. Loving father of Kevin (Lynne) Provo and the late AJ Provo. Proud grandfather of Meagan (Kyle) Sloan and Katelyn (Brandon) Sizemore and great-grandfather of Henry and Avery Sloan and Emma and Grace Sizemore. Dearest brother of Ronald, Geraldine, Mike, the late Leonard, Shirley Ann, Darlene, and Jimmy. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial visitation for Allan, Sr. will be held Wednesday, February 5th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
