Mary Jane Billecke, age 79 of Farmington Hills, passed away January 3, 2025. She was born October 3, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Edgar and Rose Wilson.

Jane dedicated countless hours to her career as an archivist, previously for Wayne State University’s Walter P. Reuther Library. Currently, Jane was completing the new Rabbi Hertz collection at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Hills.

Jane was the wife of Stephen. Loving mother of Stephanie (John Edwards) and Scott (Christine). Proud grandmother of Owen Edwards, and Teresa, Alexander, and Claire Billecke. Dear sister of the late Nancy Ferris and aunt of the late Lisa (Ferris) Weissman. Jane is also survived by Lisa’s husband, Mark, and their children, Sarah and Elizabeth Weissman.
