Carol Grifka, age 81, passed away on January 5, 2025. Carol lived a life full of love, faith, and devotion to her family, and her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born and raised with a deep love for her Catholic faith, Carol's life was marked by her commitment to the values of kindness, compassion, and family. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones, and her family was always her top priority. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Carol had an unwavering ability to offer comfort, support, and advice, always being the first person her family would call in times of need.

Carol had a vibrant love for life, finding joy in simple pleasures. She loved playing golf, especially alongside her beloved husband, Kenneth. She also found much enjoyment in playing cards and spending quality time with family. Carol's nurturing spirit, fueled by her love for children, left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

The passing of her husband Kenneth in 2022 was a devastating loss for Carol, but she remained a pillar of strength and grace. Together, Carol and Kenneth built a life full of shared memories, laughter, and love, and their bond remained an inspiration to all who witnessed it.

Carol's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She is now reunited with Kenneth, her beloved partner, and rests in the peace of the Lord’s embrace.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth. Loving mother of Laura Grifka and Lynn (Alejandro) Ramirez. Proud grandmother of Lily and Vinnie Ramirez. Dearest sister of Martin, Diana, the late Elmer, Michael and Ronnie.

Arrangements are entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home and a private family service will be held. Carol and Kenneth will be laid to rest in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
