Jeffrey S. Aston, age 64 of Gibraltar, Michigan, passed away on December 15, 2024. He was born January 1, 1960 in Windsor, Ontario to Robert and Gail Aston. Jeffrey met his wife, Lisa Loranger through mutual friends and married on October 3, 1987 in Flat Rock, Michigan. 

Jeff and Lisa lived in Gibraltar where they enjoyed life on the lake and raised their two sons, William and Ian. Jeff was an avid hunter, fisherman and boater when the boys were growing up and he took them on many adventures. Growing up, Jeff and his Dad raced sailboats and Jeff was a skilled sailor in high demand during racing season. He also played hockey and his Dad coached. Now, Will sails in races and Ian used to play hockey, with Jeff taking him to all of his games and tournaments. Jeff was a great storyteller who had many memories to share. He was generous and kind and could talk to anybody.  Quick with a smile and a joke. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Jeff was the loving husband of Lisa for 37 years. Loving father to William (Courtney) and Ian (Erica).  Dearest son of Gail and the late Robert Aston. Dear brother of Lisa (Robert) Travis, Marilyn (Thomas) Snider. Dear Grandpa to Chalino, Isla and Wesley. Uncle to Michael, Peter, Charlie, Danielle, Natalie, Libby, Aaron, Corinne and Faith.

A memorial for Jeff will be held at the McCabe Funeral Home in Canton, Michigan in the near future and will be posted here.
