Margaret Mary Coury, our angel on earth, left us to be with her Lord on October 12, 2024. She was born July 10, 1926 to Sam and Regina Abraham.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the late John Coury for 60 years. She is survived by her adoring children, Darlene, Michael, Robert (Jill), and Gina (Bill) Davis; and grandchildren she cherished, Emma Coury, Sam Coury, Cory (Mara) Davis, Matthew (Tiffany) Davis, and Tyler (Katie) Davis, as well as six great-grandchildren, Kate, Will, Elle, Mila, and two precious babies on the way.

Rarely seen without her beautiful smile, Margaret lived life with more joy and happiness than most could imagine. She had a gift of making everyone feel special and loved because she saw the best in them. We were blessed with her unconditional love and constant support. Most importantly, she had a deep faith which guided her every move. She rarely felt fear or worry because she knew God was with her. Her grace, beauty and heart of gold lit up every room she entered. Margaret was one of a kind. The void she leaves will never be filled but her impact on others will be forever felt.

Visitation for Mrs. Coury will be held on Tuesday, October 15th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Wednesday, October 16th, at 10:00 a.m., until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Rd., West Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Margaret’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
