Edward G. Cassar Jr., age 52 of Sylvan Lake, passed away suddenly on July 1, 2024.

Simply put, Eddie will be remembered as the kind and loving soul he was. Although a self-proclaimed homebody, he looked forward to going to baseball games and supporting his Detroit Tigers. He was also a loyal and forever fan of The Rolling Stones. Now joined with his father, Eddie rests well in eternal peacefulness.

Eddie was the loving son of Josephine and the late Edward Cassar Sr. Dear brother of Mark (Laura) and uncle to Dominic and Christian. Eddie is also survived by many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation for Eddie will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd,  from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eddie’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
