Anne Duggan, age 84 of West Bloomfield, passed away on December 25, 2023.

Anne was the beloved wife of Peter for 57 years. Loving mother of Anne-Marie (John) Coyne, Kathleen (Don) Knapp, Peter Michael (Lynn) Duggan. Proud grandmother of Anna, Sarah and Megan Coyne, Mary Claire and Emily Knapp, and Lukas, Gwen and Peter Joseph Duggan. Dearest sister of Irene (John) Linner, John (Margaret) Hassett and the late Claire Mulligan and Michael Hassett.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Anne was born to parents Michael and Susan Hassett in the Bronx, New York.  She and Peter were married in 1966 and lived in Cresskill, NJ with their young family before settling in West Bloomfield, Michigan where they lived for the last 45 years.

Anne worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Young and Rubicam and then at St. Mary’s College. She also loved fashion and shared her love of it while working part time at Lord and Taylor for over 20 years. After retiring, she continued to serve her community by volunteering at Angela’s Hospice.  

Anne’s most cherished accomplishment was her family and being a mother.  She was lovingly devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She lived to bring them happiness and nothing brought her greater joy than being present in their lives.

Visitation for Mrs. Duggan will be held Friday, December 29th, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state Saturday, December 30th, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Rd., West Bloomfield. Mrs. Duggan will be laid to rest in Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
