Lois Ann Crall, age 88, passed away January 18, 2023. She was born November 25, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio to William and Helen Miller. Lois was a graduate of Wayne State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. On campus in 1953, she met Frederick Crall through the Wesley Foundation. After some years of dating, and upon Fred’s return from serving in the U.S. Army, the two were married in 1958 at the Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Detroit. Together, they built their home in Farmington Hills, where they resided for over 60 years. Lois’ career as a teacher spanned for ten years until she decided to fully devote herself as a homemaker, allowing her to spend more time with her growing family. As a mother, she was her children’s number one fan, always there to support them whenever needed. The perfect wife to Fred, she was devoted and caring, and always made sure their family came first. Appointed as the “Queen of One-Liners”, Lois had a quick wit that was truly unmatched. She enjoyed staying active, from playing tennis in her earlier years, to golfing and biking in her later years, she never backed down from a challenge. As a longtime member of Nardin Park UMC, Lois remained dedicated and volunteered her time regularly. Much of Lois’ downtime, however, was spent practicing her favorite hobby, quilting and sewing. Lois’ genuine love and care for others will be deeply missed, especially by her dear family. Lois was the beloved wife of Fred for 64 1/2 years. Loving mother of David (Sharon), Lynda, and Doug (Stephanie). Proud grandmother of Andy, Lauren, Kaela, and Sierra. Visitation for Mrs. Crall will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Nardin Park United Methodist Church, 29887 W. Eleven Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will be laid to rest in Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Livonia. Memorial donations in Lois' name may be made to Nardin Park UMC. Lois Crall
