Roeser, Marilyn Rose, age 93, passed away on January 8, 2018. 

Caring daughter of the late Roy and Cathaleen Gaines.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth.

Loving mother of Lori Roeser and Kenneth Roeser, Jr.

Dear sister of the late Virginia (late Calvin) Scott, Winnie (Frank) Milo, and the late Peggy Gaines.

Cherished Aunt of David (Nancy) Scott, Cathleen (Gerard) Lamerton, Janet, Thomas and Michael Milo.

Great Aunt of David (Amy) Scott and their children; Abbey, Audrey and Brody.

Marilyn was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Cooley High School and then went on to work at what was then Michigan Bell. She married Ken Roeser in 1951. Ken passed away in 1983. Marilyn retired in 1989. In retirement, she joined 2 women’s clubs, played pinochle and traveled.  She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, chocolate and going out to eat. Spending time with family and friends, including the furry kind was her greatest joy. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Marilyn was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and friend.  She will be greatly missed.

Visitation 4 - 8 PM Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the McCabe Funeral Home (31950 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334).  Funeral service is 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.  Private burial at Acacia Park Cemetery.
