I remember singing with him in choir at North Congregational Church in Farmington Hills. He was such a genuinely giving and easy-going person. He always had something positive to share that made singing music extra-special during rehearsals. Our deepest condolences to his entire family. He was a marvelous man and we will miss very, very much.
Memories
What a great teacher and mentor. I'm so sorry to hear this. Sending hugs and prayers.
Mr. Voisin was a great teacher and dear mentor. To me and countless others. He taught us so much about life - in regards to friendships, competition, humility, grace, values, initiative, work ethic, determination, focus, belief in oneself. Mr. Voisin spent hours upon hours each week- weekend upon weekend- dedicating years of his life. Putting up with soooooo much. Exercising patience and understanding and compassion. Believing. And all the while shaping and molding. I can't tell you how many times I have looked back at the environment he created and fostered for us. Shaping our lives. I'm eternally grateful for you, Mrs. Voisin, for providing the space and spirit and commitment to our coach. He was such a force and an inspiration. We will miss him dearly. S-L Debate, Class of '89. With love.
Mr. Voisin was my favorite teacher at Southfield High School. He was always a kind, caring and considerate man and he excelled in his career. He will sorely be missed. He touched so many lives very favorably. May he rest in peace.
Just read about Art's passing in the Wayne State Alumni book.I remember Art from both high schools. Loved chatting with him about lots of things. He was always so friendly and a wonderful member of the faculty.
So sorry to hear about his passing.
