Ms. Montgomery speaking to me after receiving a 'D' in the nursing class. She must have known something was wrong. It was, she was so kind and caring. She said to me that day "I do not know what is going on in your life. But obtaining your Nursing Degree and becoming a RN will help you to deal with it better. It may not go away, but you will be a RN. So I want you to take Pathophysiology over the summer to bring your grade point back up. And I did and received a 'A'. She was so proud of being a Nurse, to this day I mimic her. I was just thinking of her over the past few months. Coming close to my retirement. I do and must say she was right. The love I have for the people, has made me feel I am one of the best nurses touched throughout my Nursing career. I miss you and my heart loves you Ms. Montgomery and thank you for you caring.
