Storms, Raymond S., passed away November 14, 2014 at age 69. Beloved father of Michelle, loving Grandfather of Sophie, and loving brother of Margie (Steve) Campbell. Visitation Saturday 5:00-7:00 PM at McCabe Funeral Home (34555 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, TEMPORARY LOCATION in the  Arboretum Office Park). Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Sophie’s Education Fund, payable to Michelle.

Here is a man who lived life to the fullest.  He worked hard and played hard.  Ray saw the horrors of life most of us never had to face and through it he risked his life to save others; by being a firefighter, serving in the Vietnam war, and being a sponsor to young people in 12 step programs.  He also sought to bring peace to the mourned while working for a funeral home.  Later in life he sought beauty by living in southern California for a while and earning a degree as a professional photographer.  

But his greatest accomplishment in life was creating his only child Michelle;  whom he loved dearly, and was very proud of. Especially when she made him a grandfather to Sophie. And his devotion to being a good grandpa will be remembered by all, forever.  

Raymond Storms believed in God and experienced many miracles in his life time. The Lord took Rays hand to come home yesterday evening. He will be very missed, and remembered well.
